The Polish part of the Lithuanian Lake District is the main area of distribution of Dactylorhiza ruthei. Twenty three localities of the species were documented. They were mainly concentrated in the region of East Suwalki Lakeland. The species usually occurred in the ecotone zones between non-forested wetland vegetation and wet forests or shrublands which were situated in the marginal parts of river valleys (particularly in the Szeszupa river valley) and, more seldom, in small depressions… Expand

New floristic records from the Polish part of the Lithuanian Lakeland (NE Poland)

This paper provides a floristic list of 111 vascular plant species recorded in the Polish part of the Lithuanian Lakeland in 2012-2014, using the ATPOL cartogram method, and finds 16 species are new to the regional flora. Expand
