In this paper, a direction of arrival (DOA) estimation method for wideband sources based on constant-Q (bandwidth to center frequency ratio) subband MVDR (minimum variance distortionless response) is proposed. By constant-Q subband decomposition, fewer subbands are needed to perform DOA estimation than usual FFT narrowband decomposition methods.
