DNA cleavage by metabolites of butylated hydroxytoluene

Abstract

The effect of butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) and its metabolites on DNA cleavage in vitro was studied with supercoiled plasmid DNA, pUC18, by agarose gel electrophoresis.
