We characterized the antithrombotic, haemorrhagic, and ex vivo anticoagulant effects of a recently identified depolymerized holothurian glycosaminoglycan (DHG), and compared these effects with those of unfractionated heparin (UFH), low molecular weight heparin (LMWH), and dermatan sulfate (DS).
