The radiation of 14C is very weak - 14C+ 14N t PSucrose in first expressed juice and mixed juice was determined by isotope dilution and the results were compared with the conventional pol determination. it was found that the sucrose content on the average was 0,25% higher using the ID method. Molasses samples, on the contrary, showed a sucrose content which was 0,71% lower than the value found by the Mackay method.
