D-Arabinose dehydrogenase was purified 843-fold from the cytosolic fraction of Saccharomyces cerevisiae with a recovery of 9%. The purified enzyme gave two bands with a molecular mass of 40 and 39 kDa on SDS-PAGE. The native enzyme had a molecular mass of 74 kDa as estimated by Sephacryl S-200 chromatography.
