The androgen deficiency is an endocrine anomaly not studied in terminal patients, except in those infected by AIDS. The symptoms in patients with a terminal illnesses can be unspecific and overlap with depressive symptomatology or caquexia-anorexia syndrome. The specific symptoms of hypogonadism (decrease of libido and erection difficulty) can only be observed if the integral approach of patients include the sexual field.
