OBJECTIVE We analyzed uterine-body endometrioid adenocarcinoma (EMA) cells appearing in the peritoneal cavity with special reference to squamous metaplastic-like cells (SMCs). METHODS Cases were 33 EMA specimens surgically resected from 2000 to 2006 and consisting of 17 G1 (51.5%), 13 G2 (39.4%), and 3 G3 (9.1%).
