To facilitate the study of interactions between equine spermatozoa and homologous oviduct epithelial cells, we developed an assay to count labelled spermatozoa bound to oviduct epithelial cell (OEC) monolayers and used the assay to compare the binding ability of spermatozoa from different stallions.
