Cyphellophora laciniata, isolated from human skin at Basel, Switzerland, is described and figured as the first species of a new genus in the Dematiaceae, order Moniliales of the Fungi Imperfecti. Dactylium fusarioides Fragoso etCiferri, isolated from air at Johannesburg, South Africa, has been studied in pure monospore cultures. A detailed description of its morphological and cultural characters is given.
