Cynomolgus monkey CYPs: a comparison with human CYPs.

Abstract

Characteristics of twelve cytochromes P450 (CYPs) from cynomolgus monkeys were compared with those of human CYPs that play an important role in drug metabolism. Eleven members of CYP1A, CYP2A, CYP2C, CYP2D, CYP2E, and CYP3A subfamilies from cynomolgus monkeys exhibited a high degree of homologies (more than 90%) in cDNA and amino acid sequences with… (More)
