PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an accurate cylinder internal pressure by correcting not only an offset amount but also an individual difference between pressure sensor themselves, a temperature drift and the like. SOLUTION: Pressure calculating parts 26, 27 calculate cylinder internal pressures at two positions based on an intake pipe internal pressure detected by a PB sensor 13 and capacities of combustion chambers at the two positions during a compression stroke.
