Cyclosporine and azathioprine immunosuppression without maintenance steroids: a prospective randomized trial.

Abstract

Since the commencement of the St. Vincent's Transplant Programme, 41 patients have undergone orthotopic heart transplantation, with low-dose cyclosporine and prednisolone as maintenance immunosuppression.
