Wegener granulomatosis is a necrotizing granulomatous vasculitis that typically involves the upper and lower respiratory tract and the kidneys. Standard therapy for Wegener granulomatosis includes the daily administration of low-dose oral cyclophosphamide and corticosteroid therapy [1, 2].
