  • Hospital-acquired (HA) infections are an increasing global problem. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and glycopeptide-resistant Enterococcus (GRE) are multidrugresistant organisms and are particularly frequent causes of HA infections that often prove difficult and expensive to treat.
