The investigation was aimed at designing pH-sensitive, polymeric nanoparticles of curcumin, a natural anti-cancer agent, for the treatment of colon cancer. The objective was to enhance the bioavailability of curcumin, simultaneously reducing the required dose through selective targeting to colon.
