Abstract

In the title coumarin derivative, C12H10O5, the fused ring system is almost planar (r.m.s deviation = 0.016 Å). The Car-C-C=O torsion angle of the side chain is -8.4 (2)° In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, generating C(8) chains propagating in the [100] direction.
