Abstract Three novel modified advanced oxidation process systems including ascorbic acid‐, pro‐oxidants‐ and ascorbic acid‐pro‐oxidants‐modified Fenton system were utilized to study the disinfection efficiency on Cryptosporidium‐contaminated drinking water samples.
