Cryoinjury of MCF-7 human breast cancer cells and its enhancement using tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) as an adjuvant, were investigated. Through a series of experiments in a two level factorial design critical parameters affecting cryotherapy responses were identified.
