OBJECTIVE Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) is used for prevention of allograft rejection in kidney transplant patients. A subset of patients suffers from chronic diarrhoea of unknown origin. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of MMF on the colonic mucosa.
