title={Cretaceous Calcareous Nannofossil Biostratigraphy of Sites 761, 762, and 763, Exmouth and Wombat Plateaus, Northwest Australia},

Three sites drilled during Leg 122, Site 761 on the Wombat Plateau and Sites 762 and 763 on the Exmouth Plateau, provide a composite Cretaceous section ranging in age from Berriasian to Maestrichtian. Together, these sites contain an apparently complete, expanded Aptian-Maestrichtian record. Consistently occurring and moderately well-preserved nannofossil assemblages allow reasonably high biostratigraphic resolution. Our data indicate that traditional middle and Upper Cretaceous nannofossil…

Calcareous nannofossils of the Boreal Lower Cretaceous : applications in biostratigraphy and palaeoceanography
The marine Lower Cretaceous sediments of northern, Boreal latitudes yield diverse and well-preserved calcareous nannofossil assemblages. The calcareous nannofloras of nine core and outcrop sections

Abstract Late Cretaceous calcareous nannofossil taxa, their distributions and relative abundances were recorded from nine Indian Ocean sites. The majority of taxa are shown to be broadly
Mid-Cretaceous calcareous and siliceous microfossils from the basal Gearle Siltstone, Giralia Anticline, Southern Carnarvon Basin
A diverse assemblage of foraminifera, radiolaria, and calcareous nannoplankton is recorded from basal beds of the Gearle Silstone in its type area. The calcareous nannofossils place the strata within
Integrated uppermost Campanian–Maastrichtian calcareous nannofossil and foraminiferal biostratigraphic zonation of the northwestern margin of Australia
During the latest Campanian–Maastrichtian the northwestern Australian margin was situated between the cool-water Austral Province to the south and the warm-water Tethyan Province to the north. The

Mesozoic and Cenozoic Calcareous Nannofossils Recovered by DSDP Leg 36 Drilling on the Falkland Plateau, Southwest Atlantic Sector of the Southern Ocean
Three DSDP Leg 36 sites drilled in the high latitudes of the southwestern Atlantic Ocean yielded thick sections of nannofossilbearing sediments of Late Jurassic, Cretaceous, and Tertiary age.
Cretaceous Calcareous Nannofossils from the Angola Basin, Deep Sea Drilling Project Site 530
The analyses of nannofossils in 517 samples from the Cretaceous sediment sequence of Hole 530A has resulted in the biostratigraphic assignment of these sediments to 13 different nannofossil zones
Albian to Pleistocene Calcareous Nannofossils from the Western South Atlantic, DSDP Leg 39
Calcareous nannofossils were obtained from all sites drilled on Leg 39 (Figure 1). Late Albian and Turonian through Pleistocene assemblages were studied. Preservation varies considerably, usually
Calcareous Nannofossil Biostratigraphy of a Lower Cretaceous Deep-Sea Fan Complex, Deep Sea Drilling Project Leg 93 Site 603, Lower Continental Rise off Cape Hatteras
Upper Berriasian to lower Aptian calcareous nannofossil assemblages have been studied from a siliciclastic deep-sea fan complex and a subjacent limestone sequence drilled beneath the lower
Calcareous Nannoplankton BiostratigraphyDeep Sea Drilling Project Leg 60
During Leg 60 of the Deep Sea Drilling Project, 17 holes were drilled at 10 sites in the Mariana Trench and Trough region of the western Pacific from March to May 1978. Samples recovered from these
Calcareous Nannoplankton and Biostratigraphic Subdivision of the Upper Cretaceous
ABSTRACT Calcareous nannoplankton fossils of the Tertiary are generally well known, and their importance in stratigraphy has been amply demonstrated. Cretaceous calcareous nannofossils have been
The Cretaceous-Tertiary Boundary Event in the Ocean
All DSDP pelagic sediment cores penetrating the Cretaceous Tertiary bOllndary exhibit a major unconformity between the Cretaceous and Tertiary The hiatuses in these cores are greater than in most
