Android is a new generation of smart mobile phone platform launched by Google. Android provides the support for various applications. These applications make use of Wi-Fi & Broadband features on a mobile phone as a solution for video streaming activity. This paper makes use of an Android based mobile phone as the embedded platform, connecting to an IP network using its built-in Wi-Fi interface.
