Considering orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing transmissions, analytical expressions for the Cramer-Rao lower bounds for the subcarrier signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) estimates are derived. The transmitted signal is assumed to be corrupted by additive white Gaussian noise on the different subcarriers.
