Studies documenting the cerebral hemodynamic consequences of selective brain hypothermia (SBH) have yielded conflicting data. Therefore, the authors have studied the effect of SBH on the relation of cerebral blood flow (CBF) and CMRO2 in the forebrain of pigs.
