Synergistic effect of laser and therapeutic ultrasound for fibromyalgia control: new development of protocols
Fibromyalgia is a painful syndrome with a generalized and chronic characteristic in the musculoskeletal system, but not articular, that generates disabilities and leads to psychosomatic and psychosocial changes.
Therapeutic Ultrasound and Photobiomodulation Applied on the Palm of Hands: A New Treatment for Fibromyalgia?A Man Case Study
Results show the treatment could improve the patient’s quality of life (SF-36) and reduce pain (VAS), indicating a new therapeutic approach to treat chronic disorders like fibromyalgia, reducing pain and increasingquality of life of fibromyalgic patients.
Sinergic Effect of Therapeutic Ultrasound and Low-Level Laser Therapy in the Treatment of Hands and Knees Ostheoarthritis
Results showed that the synergic therapy of LIPUS and LLLT were efficient in the treatment of hands and knees osteoarthritis, providing a new approach of a non-pharmacological and non-invasive treatment that contributes to better quality of life for the patients with this chronic and degenerative pathology.

Fibromyalgia Treatment: A New and Efficient Proposal of Technology and Methodological - A Case Report
A case study shows the efficacy in a new proposal of technology and methodology using equipment that enables the field overlap, as well as the application on palms of the hands, bringing to the patient, once again, the quality of life.
Low-level laser therapy to treat fibromyalgia
Low-level laser therapy provided relief from fibromyalgia symptoms in patients and should be further investigated as a therapeutic tool for management in Fibromyalgia.

Exercise can interrupt the reciprocal interactions between psychological stress and each of the multiple-system disorders of FMS, and the large literature supporting these conclusions indicates that exercise should be considered strongly as a first-line approach to FMS therapy.
Efficacy of Low Power Laser Therapy in Fibromyalgia: A Single-blind, Placebo-controlled Trial
It was found that there was no significant difference between the two groups with respect to all parameters before therapy whereas a significant difference was observed in parameters as pain, muscle spasm, morning stiffness and tender point numbers in favour of laser group after therapy.
Can Combined Ultrasound and Laser Therapy Potentiate the Treatment of a Symptomatic Osteoarthritis? A Case Report
A single case study shows the efficacy of the combined US and laser therapy on pain and function in the treatment of the symptomatic KOA.
Synergic effects of ultrasound and laser on the pain relief in women with hand osteoarthritis
The new prototype that combines US and LLLT reduced pain in women with hand osteoarthritis and showed significant decrease of the pain sensitivity for both the US + LLLTs and placebo groups.
Effects of low power laser and low dose amitriptyline therapy on clinical symptoms and quality of life in fibromyalgia: a single-blind, placebo-controlled trial
It is suggested that both amitriptyline and laser therapies are effective on clinical symptoms and QOL in fibromyalgia and that Ga-As laser therapy is a safe and effective treatment in cases with FM.
