BACKGROUND This study evaluated the cost-effectiveness of posttreatment surveillance after radiation therapy for early stage seminoma. METHODS From 1988-1995, 47 patients with Stage I, and 11 patients with Stage II seminoma (based on the Royal Marsden staging system) received paraaortic and pelvic lymph node radiation after radical orchiectomy.
