Utilizing the optimal capacity of a battery in wind-battery hybrid power systems is crucial to minimize costs. In this paper, we modify the min-max dispatch method to effectively integrate wind power into the grid. In line with the dispatch principle, we define a lifetime cost function, which indicates the battery energy storage system cost of dispatching 1 kWh of wind energy, to determine the optimal battery capacity.
