We consider a 2 + 1-dimensional gravitational theory including a Dirac field that is minimally coupled to New Massive Gravity. We investigate cosmological solutions of the field equations by using the self-interaction potential obtained by the existence of Noether symmetry. In this context, we obtain cosmological solutions that correspond to inflationary as well as the oscillatory epochs of the universe. Moreover, we observe that the Dirac field behaves like dark energy in these epochs of the… Expand

Interacting phantom cosmology via Noether symmetry approach
In this paper, we have presented a cosmological model where a phantom scalar field is minimally coupled to dark matter component. Noether symmetry method was applied both to investigate theExpand
Particle Production via Dirac Dipole Moments in the Magnetized and Nonmagnetized Exponentially Expanding Universe
In the present paper, we solve the Dirac equation in the 2+1 dimensional exponentially expanding magnetized by uniform magnetic field and nonmagnetized universes, separately. Asymptotic behaviors ofExpand
GUP effect on thermodynamical properties of the noncommutative rotating BTZ black hole
In this paper, we investigated the quantum gravity effects on the thermal properties of the (2 + 1)-dimensional noncommutative rotating Banados–Teitelboim–Zanelli (NCR-BTZ) black hole in the contex...

Dirac field as a source of the inflation in 2+1 dimensional Teleparallel gravity
In this paper, we study early-time inflation and late-time acceleration of the universe by non-minimally coupling the Dirac field with torsion in the spatially flat Friedman-Robertson-Walker (FRW)Expand
Noether Gauge Symmetry of Dirac Field in (2 + 1)-Dimensional Gravity
We consider a gravitational theory including a Dirac field that is nonminimally coupled to gravity in 2 + 1 dimensions. Noether gauge symmetry approach can be used to fix the form of couplingExpand
Massive gravity in three dimensions.
TLDR
The extension to massive N-extended supergravity is discussed, the "cosmological" extension that admits an anti-de Sitter vacuum is presented, and a more general model propagates the two spin-2 helicity states with different masses. Expand
Exact solution of Dirac equation in 2+1 dimensional gravity
We find exact solutions of the Dirac equation in the 2+1 dimensional curved background by separation of variables. These solutions are given in terms of hypergeometric functions. We also perform theExpand
Cosmological model with non-minimally coupled fermionic field
A model for the Universe is proposed whose constituents are: a) a dark energy field modeled by a fermionic field non-minimally coupled with the gravitational field, b) a matter field which consistsExpand
The General Type N Solution of New Massive Gravity
Abstract We find the most general algebraic type N solution with non-vanishing scalar curvature, which comprises all type N solutions of new massive gravity in three dimensions. We also give theExpand
Non-minimally coupled condensate cosmologies: a phase space analysis
We present an analysis of the phase space of cosmological models based on a non-minimal coupling between the geometry and a fermionic condensate. We observe that the strong constraint coming from theExpand
Exact solutions in 3D new massive gravity.
TLDR
The field equations of new massive gravity (NMG) consist of a massive (tensorial) Klein-Gordon-type equation with a curvature-squared source term and a constraint equation, and a simple framework for mapping all types D and N solutions of TMG into NMG is established. Expand
A complete classification of higher derivative gravity in 3D and criticality in 4D
We study the condition that the theory is unitary and stable in three-dimensional gravity with the most general quadratic curvature, Lorentz–Chern–Simons and cosmological terms. We provide theExpand
Fermions as sources of accelerated regimes in cosmology
In this work it is investigated if fermionic sources could be responsible for accelerated periods during the evolution of a universe where a matter field would answer for the decelerated period. TheExpand
