Corticosteroid responsive prolonged thrombocytopenia in a case of dengue fever.

Abstract

Thrombocytopenia and bleeding manifestations are consistent features of dengue fever. Usually thrombocytopenia resolves and platelet count normalises by day 10 of fever.
