Summary The properties of phosphoglucomutase and the behavior of malic dehydrogenase, the malic enzyme and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase were examined in a spectrum of liver tumors of different growth rates. Previous work on the classification of metabolic parameters according to their relation to the growth rate of hepatomas was summarized in the light of recent results. 1.
