BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to explore the correlation of gene polymorphisms of human leukocyte antigen-DQB1 (HLA-DQB1) with the infection outcome and replication status of hepatitis B virus (HBV) positive patients in the Xinjiang Uygur population in China.
