A 23-year-old man presented with an 8-year history of unilateral hemifacial microsomia. A three-dimensional model of the maxillofacial bones was generated after acquisition of helical computed tomographic data. A customised implant model was designed by projecting a mirror image of the healthy mandible on to the three-dimensional model.
