Trauma to the forehead not infrequently results in misplacement of the eyebrow. Surgical correction of the malpositioned eyebrow usually entails a long incision in the forehead and/or the frontal scalp. Although an endoscopic forehead lift technique has been devised to reposition ptotic eyebrows without long scalp incisions, it has been used mostly for cosmetic purposes.
