The authors present the results of a series of corpus callosotomies (CCS) in 97 patients performed from 1989 to 1997 at the Hospital Neurologico of the Liga Colombiana Contra La Epilepsia, Cartagena, Colombia. This study demonstrates the feasibility of performing these procedures in the developing world and analyzes the outcome and cost of treatment.
