A new species of Oecophoridae is described from central Chile. This species is assigned to genus Corita Clarke, 1978, based on antenna and labial palpus form, wing venation, abdominal vestiture and genitalia of male and female. Diagnostic characters are given for Corita attenboroughi sp. nov., photographs of adult and illustrations of wing venation and genital structures are provided.
