Oxysterols/oxysterol receptors have been shown to modulate several immune cell subsets, such as macrophages, T-cells and B-cells, neutrophils and dendritic cells (DCs). They participate in the control of several pathologic processes, that is, infectious diseases, atherosclerosis and autoimmunity.
