Twenty low molecular weight compounds were tested as substrates for UDP-GlcNAc:alpha-D-mannoside (GlcNAc to Man alpha 1-3) beta 2-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase I (GlcNAc-transferase I) purified from bovine colostrum.
