Control Strategy and Simulation for Multi-Axis HEV

Abstract

In order to improve engine efficiency and charge-discharge efficiency for multi-axis hybrid vehicle, a fuzzy control strategy is proposed by considering of battery SOC and request power. By using the simulation environment of ADVISOR 2002, the control strategy is analysed and simulated. And according to GJB3086-97, the power performance of the vehicle is tested. The results indicate that via the fuzzy control strategy engine efficiency can be increased by about 20% on average. Therefore, the fuzzy control strategy is more applicable to the all-wheel drive off-road vehicles in such heavy load and poor road conditions.
