Macro- and microevolutionary perspectives on Seynesiella juniperi, a fungus in the Venturiales (Dothideomycetes, Ascomycota)
TLDR
Combining phylogenetics and multi-locus delimitation analyses, together with more detailed measurements of ascospores, will be fundamental for a better understanding of species boundaries and the biogeographic history of the delimited species, as well as for revealing more specific fungal-plant association patterns.
Estudio micológico de El Canal y Los Tiles (La Palma, Islas Canarias). V. Datos adicionales
An annotated catalogue of 66 taxa, collected in the early MAB Reserve El Canal y Los Tiles is presented. Among these taxa, 11 species are new for La Palma island and 5 are recorded for the first time
El género Rhytidhysteron (Dothideomycetes, Ascomycota) en México
TLDR
The genus Rhytidhysteron has a high diversity of species in Mexico, and most specimens have been found on decomposing branches, mainly of genera of the Fabaceae family in tropical dry forest, which suggest that this group of plants represent the microhabitat to which Rhytids Hysteron species have best adapted.
Families of Dothideomycetes
TLDR
Dothideomycetes comprise a highly diverse range of fungi characterized mainly by asci with two wall layers (bitunicate asci) and often with fissitunicate dehiscence, and it is hoped that by illustrating types they provide stimulation and interest so that more work is carried out in this remarkable group of fungi.
Airborne ascospores in Mérida (SW Spain) and the effect of rain and other meteorological parameters on their concentration
TLDR
Daily rainfall was significantly correlated with the ascospore types Diatrype, Mycosphaerella, Nectria, two subtypes of Leptosphaeria, and Pleospora, and relative humidity was positively correlated with those ascospores types and also with Diaporthe and Paraphaeosphaaria, and negatively with Chaetomium and Melanomma.
Three new species of Lichenopeltella (Microthyriaceae, Ascomycota) from northwest North America
Three new species of Lichenopeltella are described based on recent floristic work on lichens and lichenicolous fungi in the Pacific Northwest, bringing the total number of species recognized in North
A key to the non-lichenicolous species of the genus Capronia (Herpotrichiellaceae)
A key to the non-lichenicolous Capronia species is presented and Capronia holmiorum is proposed as a nomen novum to replace Capronia collapsa (K. Holm & L. Holm) O.E. Erikss. nom. illeg. Several
