HMG-17 proteins are nucleosomal proteins, implicated in control of chromatin structure and transcription, in a way that has not yet been fully understood. In this report, quantification of HMG-17 in porcine tissues was performed, by ELISA, using previously produced and characterized specific rabbit anti-HMG-17 antibodies.
