BACKGROUND In the general hospital setting, alcohol-use disorders very commonly remain undetected. OBJECTIVE The authors hypothesized that including a consultation-liaison (C-L) psychiatrist in primary-care rounds would improve detection rates of alcohol-use-disorders.
