In this paper, we describe a way to construct a class of dark energy models that admit late time de Sitter attractor solution. In the canonical scalar and Born-Infeld scalar dark energy models, we show mathematically that a simple sufficient condition for the existence of a late time de Sitter like attractor solution is that the potentials of the scalar field have non-vanishing minimum while this condition becomes that the potentials have non-vanishing maximum for the phantom models. These…

Dilatonic Dark Energy Model with Late Time de Sitter Attractor
Based on Weyl-scaled induced gravitational theory, we regard dilaton field in this theory as a candidate of dark energy. We construct a dilatonic dark energy model and its phantom model, that admit
In this paper, we study the cosmological dynamics of dilatonic dark energy model and its phantom model — with negative kinetic energy. When the potential is taken as the form
Dark Energy Model with Canonical Scalar Field and Non-Linear Born–Infeld Type Scalar Field
In this paper, we propose the non-linear Born–Infeld scalar field and canonical scalar field dark energy models with the potential $$\frac{\lambda }{4}( {\phi ^2 - \sigma ^2 })^2 + V_0$$, which
Attractor behavior in dilatonic (phantom) dark energy model with an especial potential
AbstractThe dilaton in Weyl-Scale induced gravitational theory is regarded as a candidate of dark energy. When the potential of dilaton field is taken as the form $$ W_\sigma + \sigma ^2 e^{ - \beta
Attractor Behavior in Dilatonic (phantom) Dark Energy Model with Potential [1+(σ-A) 2 ]e -Bσ
In this paper, we consider the dilatonic dark energy model and its phantom model. Based on the dilatonic (phantom) model, we take the potential of dilaton field of the form [1+(σ-A)2]e-Bσ which seems
The Evolution of Dilatonic Universe with a Double Exponential Potential
In this paper, dilaton in Weyl-Scaled induced gravitational theory is regarded as a candidate of dark energy. When the potential of dilaton field is taken as the form of a double exponential
Escaping the big rip
We discuss dark energy models which might describe effectively the actual acceleration of the universe. More precisely, for a four-dimensional Friedmann–Lemaitre–Robertson–Walker (FLRW) universe we
Dark energy and future singularity of the universe in Kaluza-Klein space time
The dark energy model with the equation of state $p_{\mathit{DE}} = {-} \rho_{\mathit{DE}} - A\rho_{\mathit{DE}}^{\alpha} $ is studied in Kaluza-Klein space time. The model comprises and provides
A Gauss–Bonnet dark energy model is considered. It is inspired by string/M-theory and also takes into account quantum contributions, which are introduced from a conformal quantum anomaly. The

Attractor solution of phantom field
In light of recent study on the dark energy models that manifest an equation of state $w<-1$, we investigate the cosmological evolution of phantom field in a specific potential, exponential potential
Cosmological Dynamics of Phantom Field
We study the general features of a dynamics of a phantom field in the cosmological context. In the case of an inverse coshyperbolic potential, we demonstrate that the phantom field can successfully
Cosmology with tachyon field as dark energy
We present a detailed study of cosmological effects of homogeneous tachyon matter coexisting with nonrelativistic matter and radiation, concentrating on the inverse square potential and the
Phantom with Born-Infield type Lagrangian
Recent analysis of the observation data indicates that the equation of state of the dark energy might be smaller than -1, which leads to the introduction of phantom models featured by its negative
The Cosmological Constant and Dark Energy
Physics invites the idea that space contains energy whose gravitational effect approximates that of Einstein's cosmological constant, Lambda: nowadays the concept is termed dark energy or
Can the dark energy equation - of - state parameter w be less than -1?
Models of dark energy are conveniently characterized by the equation-of-state parameter $w=p/\ensuremath{\rho},$ where $\ensuremath{\rho}$ is the energy density and p is the pressure. Imposing the
Rolling Tachyon
We discuss construction of classical time dependent solutions in open string (field) theory, describing the motion of the tachyon on unstable D-branes. Despite the fact that the string field theory
Cosmological imprint of an energy component with general equation of state
We examine the possibility that a significant component of the energy density of the Universe has an equation of state different from that of matter, radiation, or cosmological constant ({Lambda} ).
