We have previously developed LAOS, a 5-layer adaptive authoring model for adaptive hypermedia, and LAG, a 3-layer adaptation model. Our primary goal is to integrate these two models and to reflect this integration as an extension of MOT, an on-line tool for adaptive hypermedia design. This paper focuses on the integration of LAG and LAOS, and the implications this integration has on the UM and AM layers in LAOS.
