We analyzed the motivation and consequences (i.e. benefits and pitfalls) of expanding chirality to include spin isomers, non-space dimensions and arbitrary number of dimensions. The prevailing opinion in the literature is that “Chirality” should remain restricted to objects constructed in four architectural dimensions and to mirror images, and be described as a particular example of “Handedness”.
