PURPOSE To describe a case of optic nerve (ON) anomaly and retinal detachment with extensive subretinal silicone oil after repair of retinal detachment. A three-generation family history of ON anomaly, two generations with detachment, is presented. METHODS Retrospective chart review. A multigenerational family with ON anomalies and macular detachment.
