We study the possible suppression of the extragalactic neutrino flux due to a nonstandard interaction during its propagation. In particular, we study neutrino interaction with an ultra-light scalar field dark matter. It is shown that the extragalactic neutrino flux may be suppressed by such an interaction, leading to a new mechanism to reduce the ultra-high energy neutrino flux. We study both the cases of non-self-conjugate as well as self-conjugate dark matter. In the first case, the…

Propagation of high-energy neutrinos in a background of ultralight scalar dark matter
Abstract If high-energy neutrinos propagate in a background of ultralight scalar field particles of dark matter ( m φ ∼ 10 − 23  eV), neutrino–dark matter interactions can play a role and affect the
Flavor of cosmic neutrinos preserved by ultralight dark matter
Within the standard propagation scenario, the flavor ratios of high-energy cosmic neutrinos at neutrino telescopes are expected to be around the democratic benchmark resulting from hadronic sources,
Constraining dark matter-neutrino interactions with IceCube-170922A
Astrophysical neutrinos travel long distances from their sources to the Earth traversing dark matter halos of clusters of galaxies and that of our own Milky Way. The interaction of neutrinos with

The scattering of neutrinos off dark matter can induce time delays in their propagation compared to that of photons, which would wash out correlations between ultra-high-energy neutrinos and
A reduction in the UHE neutrino flux due to neutrino spin precession
Abstract Motivated by the stringent flux limits for UHE neutrinos coming from gamma ray bursts or active galactic nuclei, we explore the possibility that the active neutrinos generated in such
Interactions of astrophysical neutrinos with dark matter: a model building perspective
A bstractWe explore the possibility that high energy astrophysical neutrinos can interact with the dark matter on their way to Earth. Keeping in mind that new physics might leave its signature at
Implications of the pseudo-Dirac scenario for ultra high energy neutrinos from GRBs
The source of Ultra High Energy Cosmic Rays (UHECR) is still an unresolved mystery. Up until recently, sources of Gamma Ray Bursts (GRBs) had been considered as a suitable source for UHECR. Within
Strong constraints on non-standard neutrino interactions: LHC vs. IceCube
Abstract We find the constraints on various non-standard interactions (NSI) of neutrinos from monojet+"Image missing" T searches at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Also, we show that the

Constraints on neutrino-dark matter interactions from cosmic microwave background and large scale structure data
We update a previous investigation of cosmological effects of a nonstandard interaction between neutrinos and dark matter. Parametrizing the elastic-scattering cross section between the two species
Cosmological bounds on dark-matter-neutrino interactions
We investigate the cosmological effects of a neutrino interaction with cold dark-matter. We postulate a neutrino that interacts with a "neutrino-interacting dark-matter" (NIDM) particle with an
Is it possible to explain neutrino masses with scalar dark matter
We present a scenario in which a remarkably simple relation linking dark matter properties and neutrino masses naturally emerges. This framework points towards a low energy theory where the neutrino
Flux limits on ultra high energy neutrinos with AMANDA-B10
Abstract Data taken during 1997 with the AMANDA-B10 detector are searched for a diffuse flux of neutrinos of all flavors with energies above 10 16  eV. At these energies the Earth is opaque to
Neutrinoless universe.
The relic neutrinos would annihilate to bosons at late times and thus make a negligible contribution to the matter density today, which evades the neutrino mass limits arising from large scale structure.
Are small neutrino masses unveiling the missing mass problem of the Universe?
We present a scenario in which a remarkably simple relation linking dark matter properties and neutrino masses naturally emerges. This framework points towards a low energy theory where the neutrino
Search for a diffuse flux of high-energy extraterrestrial neutrinos with the NT200 neutrino telescope
Abstract We present the results of a search for high-energy extraterrestrial neutrinos with the Baikal underwater Cherenkov detector NT200, based on data taken in 1998–2003. Upper limits on the
Study of TeV neutrinos with upward showering muons in Super-Kamiokande
Abstract A subset of neutrino-induced upward through-going muons in the Super-Kamiokande detector consists of high-energy muons which lose energy through radiative processes such as bremsstrahlung, e
Big bang cosmology, relic neutrinos, and absorption of neutrino cosmic rays
