We present a relativistic model describing a thin disk surrounded by a halo in the presence of an electromagnetic field. The model is obtained by solving the Einstein-Maxwell equations on a particular conformastatic spacetime background and by using the distributional approach for the energy-momentum tensor. A class of solutions is obtained in which the gravitational and electromagnetic potentials are completely determined by a harmonic function only. A particular solution is given that is…

Conformastationary disk-haloes in Einstein–Maxwell gravity
An exact solution of the Einstein–Maxwell field equations for a conformastationary metric with magnetized disk-haloes sources is worked out in full. The characterization of the nature of the energy
Exact Relativistic Magnetized Haloes around Rotating Disks
The study of the dynamics of magnetic fields in galaxies is one of important problems in formation and evolution of galaxies. In this paper, we present the exact relativistic treatment of a rotating
Variational thermodynamics of relativistic thin disks
We present a relativistic model describing a thin disk system composed of two fluids. The system is surrounded by a halo in the presence of a non-trivial electromagnetic field. We show that the model
Effective perihelion advance and potentials in a conformastatic background with magnetic field
An Exact solution of the Einstein-Maxwell field equations for a conformastatic metric with magnetized sources is study. In this context, effective potential are studied in order to understand the
Exact relativistic models of perfect fluid disks in a magnetic field
Using the well-known “displace, cut and reflect” method we construct thin disks made of a perfect fluid in presence of a magnetic field. The models are based in a magnetic Reissner-Nordstrom metric
Sources of gravitational waves in asymptotically flat Einstein-Maxwell spacetime
In this work, the dynamic of isolated systems in general relativity is described when gravitational radiation and electromagnetic fields are present. In this construction, the asymptotic fields

The origin of magnetic fields in the universe still remains unknown and constitutes one of the most intriguing questions in astronomy and astrophysics. Their significance is enormous since they have
Weyl conformastatic perihelion advance
In this paper, we examine a static gravitational field with axial symmetry over probe particles in the solar system. Using the Weyl conformastatic solution as a model, we find a non-standard

Relativistic disks as sources of static vacuum spacetimes.
TLDR
It is shown that most vacuum Weyl solutions can arise as the metrics of counter-rotating relativistic disks and how the Curzon, Schwarzschild, Zipoy-Vorhees, and Israel-Kahn metrics can be generated by the disks.
An Infinite Family of Magnetized Morgan-Morgan Relativistic Thin Disks
Applying the Horský-Mitskievitch conjecture to the empty space solutions of Morgan and Morgan due to the gravitational field of a finite disk, we have obtained the corresponding solutions of the
Charged perfect fluid disks as sources of Taub-NUT-type spacetimes
The interpretation of a family of electrovacuum stationary Taub-NUT-type fields in terms of finite charged perfect fluid disks is presented. The interpretation is made by means of an 'inverse
Static axisymmetric discs and gravitational collapse
Regular static axisymmetric vacuum solutions of Einstein’s field equations representing the exterior field of a finite thin disc are found. These are used to describe the slow collapse of a disc-like
Finite axisymmetric charged dust disks in conformastatic spacetimes
An infinite family of axisymmetric charged dust disks of finite extension is presented. The disks are obtained by solving the vacuum Einstein-Maxwell equations for conformastatic spacetimes, which
Exact relativistic static charged dust discs and non-axisymmetric structures
The well-known 'displace, cut and reflect' method used to generate discs from given solutions of Einstein field equations is applied to the superposition of two extreme Reissner–Nordstrom black holes
Relativistic static thin dust disks with an inner edge: An infinite family of new exact solutions
An infinite family of new exact solutions of the vacuum Einstein equations is presented. The solutions are static and axially symmetric and correspond to an infinite family of thin dust disks with a
Relativistic disks as sources of the Kerr metric.
TLDR
It is indicated that these spacetimes can arise as the metrics of counterrotating thin disks of finite mass, consisting of two streams of collisionless particles, circulating in opposite directions with different velocities, which can act as exact sources of all types of the Kerr metric.
Electromagnetic sources distributed on shells in a Schwarzschild background
In the Introduction we briefly recall our previous results on stationary electromagnetic fields on black hole backgrounds and the use of spin-weighted spherical harmonics. We then discuss static
Relativistic discs and flat galaxy models
Recent progress in Newtonian potential theory of infinitesimally thin discs enables one to generate the potential-density pairs of axisymmetric discs in closed forms. We show that these results can
