Strongly coupled gauge systems with many fermions are important in many phenomenological models. I use the 2-lattice matching Monte Carlo renormalization group method to study the fixed point structure and critical indexes of SU(3) gauge models with 8 and 12 flavors of fundamental fermions. With an improved renormalization group block transformation I am able to connect the perturbative and confining regimes of the N{sub f}=8 flavor system, thus verifying its QCD-like nature. With N{sub f}=12…

Thermodynamic Lattice Study for Preconformal Dynamics in Strongly Flavored Gauge Theory

By using the lattice Monte-Carlo simulation, we investigate the finite temperature chiral phase transition in color SU(3) gauge theories with various species of fundamental fermions, and discuss the

The Infrared behavior of SU(3) Nf=12 gauge theory -about the existence of conformal fixed point-

Incorporated with twisted boundary condition, Polyakov loop correlators can give a definition of the renormalized coupling. We employ this scheme for the step scaling method (with step size s = 2) in

Nonperturbative β function of eight-flavor SU(3) gauge theory

A bstractWe present a new lattice study of the discrete β function for SU(3) gauge theory with Nf = 8 massless flavors of fermions in the fundamental representation. Using the gradient flow running

Nonperturbative improvement of SU ( 2 ) lattice gauge theory with adjoint or fundamental flavors Karavirta

SU(2) gauge theory with two fermions transforming under the adjoint representation may appear conformal or almost conformal in the infrared, and is one of the candidate theories for building models

Determining the conformal window: SU(2) gauge theory with Nf = 4, 6 and 10 fermion flavours

A bstractWe study the evolution of the coupling in SU(2) gauge field theory with Nf = 4, 6 and 10 fundamental fermion flavours on the lattice. These values are chosen close to the expected edges of

Investigating the conformal window of SU(N) gauge theories

In this thesis we are concerned with the existence of infrared fixed points and the conformal window for gauge theories with fermions. We are particularly interested in those theories that are

Nonperturbative improvement of SU(2) lattice gauge theory with adjoint or fundamental flavours

The gauge theory with SU(2) color group and two fermion species, each transforming under the adjoint representation, may appear conformal or almost conformal in the infrared, and is one of the

Critical couplings and string tensions via lattice matching of renormalization group decimations

Critical couplings and string tensions in SU(2) and SU(3) lattice gauge theory are calculated by two-lattice matching of RG block transformations. The transformations are of the potential moving type
