Over-expression of the c-myc gene is widely implicated in the genesis of lymphoid neoplasia, including tumours of the T-cell lineage. To study the effects of deregulated c-myc expression on T-cell development and oncogenesis, we sought to generate a transgenic mouse model in which c-myc expression was targeted specifically to the T-cell lineage.
