Computer simulation of intracardiac potentials was performed based on a whole-heart model, emphasising applications to Electrophysiology Study (EPS) and catheter ablation. A numerical method was proposed based on a volume conductor model with multiple interfaces and piecewise homogeneity. A model of a normal heart and a model of Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) Syndrome with a right free-wall Accessory Pathway (AP) were employed to simulate intracardiac electrograms.
